I need a few really quick breakfast foods (<15 minutes). The thing is, last year I practically died from having the same foods over and over. And over.

I've got things like toast, cereal, egos, etc, but I really want more foods to change Any good ideas of foods I can try? Thanks.

Also, suggestions for easy-to-pack lunches is good to. i had the same problem with lunch as breakfast. Same lunches over and over. My lunches consisted mainly of lunchables, and, sandwiches The thing is, i dont have a microwave at school

!thanks!!!

  1. breakfast:

oatmeal, frozen waffles or pancakes, poptarts or toaster strudels.

    lunch:

bagels with cream cheese (yummy, i used to bring this all the time, especially bagels from panera!), you can make pita sandwiches or tortilla wraps instead of sandwiches, tuna on toast is always good, also those little tuna and cracker lunches you can buy, you can pack hot soup in a thermos with crackers or bread to go with it.

veggies with some ranch are always a good side. you can always pack salad in a baggie and some dressing separately to make a salad!

    good luck, hope this helped!

  2. some starbucks coffee ;)

  3. breakfast = cup of noodles

    lunch = sandwich

    easy ?

  4. An idea that I use and really works is to pack your lunch at night. It makes you have much more time to pack, and relaxes you. Just stick it in the fridge then grab it before you take off. This is a full day of meals that is guaranteed to give you all of the vitamins and servings you need. You don't have to use all of it, but it's just a suggestion. You can make some of it earlier and pop it in the fridge so you can grab it as the day goes. Here it is:

    BREAKFAST:

Toast some bread (or frozen french toast) and use cut up strawberries and bananas. Take a slice of toast/french toast and put the strawberries and bananas on. Top it with another slive of toast/french toast. Drink it with a glass of milk.

MORNING SNACK (optional, but if you skip you only miss some vitamins, I don't eat it but it's up to you)

Have a baggie of 1 cup cheerios, 1/4 cup raisins, and 1/4 cup peanuts.

    LUNCH

Take a flour tortilla and put in a dab of Ranch Dressing. Add any of the following things, anything you don't like you don't have to use:

    -chopped onions

    -lettuce

    -tomatoes

    -chopped celery

    -turkey

    -mini carrots

For sides have a chocolate pudding cup, an apple, and some milk.

    AFTER SCHOOL SNACK

Make a smoothie with frozen concentrated juice (any kind), cut-up fruit (any kind), plain yogurt, and ice. Slurp it down with some salty pretzals.

    DINNER:

Have a plate of spaghetti with meat sauce, a scoop of sugar snap peas, a breadstick, and a glass of milk. For dessert have a slice of poundcake topped with strawberries (and a dallop of whipped topping, if you prefer).

    Good luck!

  5. breakfast- bagel with cream cheese or jelly, jimmy dean breakfast sandwiches (jsut microwave sausage egg and cheese is my fave), sausage on a stick (pacake wrapped around sausage dip in syrup), french toast, eggs scrambled with ham.

lunch- starkist tuna lunches (small tuna can with mayo, relish and crackers) and fruit or chips and cookie. ham or turkey with cheese on crackers with yogurt and chips...

  6. Fruit is great for brekky with Yogurt, you can even sprinkle some musli on your yogurt too.

For lunch, salads are great, if you have left over meat from the night befores dinner you can just put some of that in your salad.

My favorite is wraps, with mountainbread or pita bread, and you just put salady things in them, or cheese and ham, or even just honey or something?! Its a good change from bread!

  7. Breakfast ideas:

    Breakfast burritos (eggs/cheese/hashbrowns/tortillas)

Egg in a Nest (where the egg is cooked inside the cut out middle of the bread)

    French toast

    Cereal/cereal straws with milk

    Cereal bars or granola bars

    Bagels with cream cheese

    English muffins with butter

    Fresh fruit

    Yogurt and fruit

Breakfast Smoothie (my personal favorite!) use any kind of yogurt and banana and milk and throw in the blender with a little ice

Pancakes (you can buy a mix kind that you can put water in the container and pour 1 serving size and it keeps in the fridge)

    Hashbrowns and ham or eggs

    Lunch ideas:

Tortilla wraps (some veggies like lettuce and cucumber and bell peppers and tomatoes with your favorite lunch meat and cheese and salad dressing)

    Leftover dinner stuff

Bagel sandwiches (use tuna and chicken salads for something interesting)

Peanut butter and banana sandwiches (another favorite of mine!)

    Peanut butter and nutella sandwiches

Tuna or chicken salad with crackers

    Cheese and crackers

I always like a few sides with my lunch like carrots and grapes and other fruits and veggies and stuff like pudding or yogurt and crackers.

  8. Breakfasts:

    Scrambled Eggs

    Pancakes

Bacon (if you heat it up but it doesn't taste as good unless you cook it in the oven, but it takes more than 15 mins.)

    Poptarts

    Granola Bars

Fruit (bananas, oranges, apples-really good ones to have for breakfast before school)

Stuff you can pack in your lunch:

    Fruit Roll-ups

    Chips

    Crackers

Left-overs (pizza, chicken-I brought cold chicken to school before and it was yummy & everyone wanted some but they didn't get any =p)

    Fruit

    Fruit Cups

    Granola Bars

    Poptarts

That's some of the stuff I eat for breakfast/lunch at school. I can't really think of anything else right now, but if I do I'll add it on this list. You can also look up a few ideas of what to eat on google. =] Here's a few links to the pages I found:

  9. Well if you don't have a microwave at school, you could try something cold, like, I know some stores sell packaged sushi. You could make a sandwich or wrap the night before.

I like peanut butter and banana sandwiches and cucumber sandwiches.

    Ingredients:

    2 med. cucumbers

    16 oz cream cheese, softened

1 env. dry Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing mix

    1 loaf cocktail rye bread

    Dill weed

    Directions:

Slice cucumbers 1/8"" to 1/4"" thick. Let drain on paper towels. Mix cream cheese and dressing mix. Spread thickly on bread and top with cucumber slice(s). Garnish with dill weed. Directions say make this recipe as close to serving time as possible, but storing with paper towels under bread and on top of cucumbers should be okay. Give it a try
