  1. zinc and zycam, but don't take on an empty stomach! hot water with lemon and honey in it will sooth the throat.

and if you want...a small shot of whiskey can warm your throat and chest ,and help kill germs on its way down;)

  2. asprine and hot (do not boil) lemonade

take and go straight to bed

  3. Here's a few ideas.

If you begin to feeany symptoms, crush (crushing releases an enzyme to help with digestion. If you have the time, also wait five to 15 minutes, to further enhance the effect of the enzyme) two Cloves of Garlic and chop into the size of smalaspirin. Then swallow with water. Do this up to three times a day if you can for severadays and hopefully, your symptoms wilgo away! If you're concerned about chasing off anyone who comes close to you, chew on some Fenneseeds (found in the spice section of your grocery store -- they're pretty tasty) or some Parsley.

  4. When I was young, mom used to give me some vitamin c. (ascorbic acid)

But nowadays, I rely on my taheebo herb to drink. I also love eating lots of pineapples, and drinks lots of juices and good thing my cold only lasts for 2 days with proper rest and exercise.

But there was a time that my cold aggravates and so I took some ambroxol as antibiotics coz Im having difficulty of swallowing already because of a sore throat. It only lasts a few more days and its gone and Im okay

  5. an COLD is brought on by your own body to bring your immune  system up... the only thing that can help is a nasal spray and some cough drops

BTW buttercup is wrong after you get your daily need of vit C you pee it out. vit C tabets are useless

  6. You should take oregano oil. It's the quickest way I know of to knockout a cold or allergies. It contains compounds that are antiviral, antiseptic, and a substance called carvacrol that is a natural decongestant.

It"s also a better source of antioxidants than vitamin C. Google swanson vitamins, they sell it very inexpensively.

  7. For me, the most effective and quick acting remedy is Emergen-C.  It contains 1,000 mg of vitamin C (a great immune booster) and tons of other awesome vitamins that should help get you back on track.  I buy mine at the local whole foods, but I'm not sure what stores you have near you.  If you have access to alternative health stores the employees should be able to direct you towards some homeopathic remedies as well.  Best Wishes.
