I just made my first sell on ebay and the user paid via paypal. I signed into paypal and had to upgrade to a premiem account to accept the payment. I did this and accepted the payment. Is it safe to send the item to the seller now?

  1. If the payment has cleared then yes, it is safe to send. I never transfer the money to my bank account, I just leave it in paypal and use it from there with a debit card. I haven't personally had any issues with it yet (knock on wood) but what the other person said is true. If a customer is dissatisfied with their purchase and files a complaint with paypal the money will be "frozen" until the dispute is solved. In that case you wouldn't be able to touch the money until you worked something out with the buyer. If the money is in a different account they can't freeze it so you could use it in the meantime but you are still obligated to work something out with the buyer.

  2. YES YOU CAN.

BUT SIR PLZ PLZ PLZ Put delivery confirmation on the item before shipping. Cuz some buyers receive the item and claim that they did not get it. When they file a dispute on paypal. 99% chance of you loosing. you can only win if you have a delivery confirmation number. Receipts are no good also

  3. First rule in ebay selling, NEVER send the item until you transfer the money to your bank account and it clears. If the buyer gets the item and complains to ebay or paypal and you haven't transfer it out of your paypal account they will seize it till it is resovlved. Been there done that. It only takes once to get burned and you'll learn quick.

  4. yes
