  1. Use some boards or flat sheets of plywood....

  2. First, the cheap trick- grab as many people as you can. Have them all stand in the back of the uhaul and bounce, don't jump, springy is what you need. This may provide enough weight on the rear drives to allow you to slowly go back up the hill. Be sure you tap lightly on the fuel, lightly, spinning is the enemy as you probably already figured out.

    If that fails---

Go and buy a chain of the right length.

Under the front bumper of the u-haul there should be some tow hooks. If not, wrap the chain around the frame, not the bumper. Hook the other end to your other vehicle and slowly attempt to help the u-haul up the hill. It is a good idea to have some boards as well. You don't need enough to cover the entire hill, just two boards for each set of drive tires. Rotate as needed. If all else fails, call a friend with a wench big enough to get it out. If you call a tow, tell them they better have a wench. A big one.
