Quick its an emergancy!!!?

Question

i need to make a video quick!! i already recorded it on my digital camera but i tried to upload it to movie maker but it won't work!!! why??? why!! why!! i need to know of another program i can download quickly that WILL let me use the type of format that my videos are!!

ok the fomrat of your video will most likely hopefully be am mpeg. Go to movie maker, file, capture to camera or import from camera(thats just used for streaming). usually if you plug in the camera to your comp via usb or firewire the driver should isntall correct and auto play should pop up. if it doesn't go to my computer and your cam's hard drive should work. if its a mini dv tape camera then you have to connect and stream the tape to comp.

possibly the video format is not supported by wmmaker.

convert to avi or wmv...try Prism or Super video converters (download free)
