What is the purpose of bronzer? Is it similar to foundation? Also, i need help getting into a makeup routine in the morning to get ready for school that doesn't take forever. I'm willing to spend like 15-20 minutes on it if needed. Whats your routine like? Any tips?

Thanks.

Also, if you could answer my other question i need help with it as well.

  1. 1) The purpose of a bronzer is just to make your skin a little more sun kissed. Its not foundation as it doesn't even out your skin, but its more like a blush.

    2) My routine. I start off with under eye concealer for my dark circles and then concealer for my occasional blemishes. I dont use foundation because my skin is already smooth and even. Then I put some black eyeliner on my top and bottom outer half of my lids and smudge it. I usually use some dark brown eyeshadow that looks good. Then I'll take some white eyeliner and apply a little to my inner part of my eye. Ill apply some bronzer on my cheekbones, jawline, temple, nose, and upper lip area (all places where the sun would hit) and then some blush on my cheeks. Lastly I apply two coats of mascara to my top lashes and one to the bottom. Some bath and body works lip gloss finishes it all off!

    I hoped this helped you.

  2. bronzer is like a blush. except blushes tend to be pink and berry shades. bronzer are usually brown shades that can be used if you want that "sun-kissed" tan look. i use it because i have dark tannish skin and i look weird with that pink blush.

makeup shouldn't take long. just putting on your foundation, mascara, maybe eye liner or lip gloss if you want it.

  3. bronzer is for after your make up for a sun tanned glow

my routine doesnt take too long, i start out with eyeliner...i put some black on the bottom and then if i feel like it, i'll put a color on the top (usually green or blue or purple) and then i go over it with wet Q-tips so that the lines are even and not smeared. then i put on a bit of mascara, but i wipe off the brush with toilet paper before hand so that its not all clumpy and it still looks natural. after that i put cover up on (no foundation cuz it makes my face look powdery and fake, but if you usually put it on then put it on before everything i mentioned) and then i finish off with lipgloss or chapstick. i like to keep mine natural, and it doesnt take too long, except for when i mess up or one eye is heavier than the other lol

  4. a bronzer adds a tint of color to your skin, as if you've been in the sun.

Once in a while I use Loreal sublime glow for my face, especially when my skin is pale in the winter. It wouldn't be good for oily skin, though.

it only takles me 5 minutes to do my makeup.

    1. facecream or bronzer, whatever you use

    2. a little bit of powder blush (don't put this on until your sklin is dry or it'll stick to your face and make it look splotchy. Use a large blush brush and put on cheekbones only. you can add one swipe of the brush  to your chin and forehead if you want.

    3. light shimmery eyeshadow on the lids and just below the brow bone.  You can use a darker color just on the lids if you want a little more.

    4. eyeliner on top lids (I use dark brown)

    5. mascara on top lashes

    6. lipgloss

  5. bronzer is for when your done with your makeup, you put a little bronzer on the set it. my routine is 12 minuetes long:

    concealer and minerals

    eyeshadow

    eyeliner

    curl eyelashes

    mascara

    lip gloss

  6. Eyeshadow

    Eyeliner

    Mascara

    Curling lash

    blush

    brush teeth

    lipgloss.:)

  7. A bronzer is applied on cheeks for a tan cheek look.   Before applying makeup wash your face and apply a moisturizer. Then apply a concealer for blemishes on face. Then apply foundation or makeup with fingers or sponge on face. I useally then do my eye makeup and put eyeliner with eyeshadow then massacre and add lip gloss to shine your lips. When choosing makeups go for more naturl colors for your face for it can have a more natural beauty look. Practice and don't start off with to much makeup cause it can be very drastic.

  8. Lol it's to make you look more tan. (:

  9. The trend for this fall is looking like you just came back from the beach and you have an all over glow. However, this look can be used all year around!

The purpose of bronzer, as the other posts have said, is to basically give color to your face, as if you spent the day out in the sun. The natural, sunkissed glow.

Bronzer can come in several forms. The most popular is the powdered form, usually in a compact. I have seen bronzers in liquid form but I'm not too fond of those. It's much harder to apply and isn't as natural.

The color of bronzers ranges from bronze to golden colors. If you want to achieve that beach-y look, you need to find a bronzer that is darker than your skin tone, but not TOO dark. You can also use bronzers to where it DOES match your skin tone but it will give a glow to your face without that extra punch. Sometimes they can come with a lot of shimmer (perfect for summer, not so much for the rest of the year) or they can be matte. I prefer matte bronzers because it's easier to use year around, without having to buy more than necessary.

Bronzer is most like blush, not foundation. It is used to add color to your face, that's all!

I never have a lot of time to get ready for school. I have to pretty much slap some color on my face, grab some clean clothes, and head out the door. I like to sleep in =)

You do not want to cake makeup on because that's so not cool.

The essential things you need to have a nice, clean, and healthy face are: foundation, concealer, mascara, blush/bronzer, and lipgloss.

I use powdered foundation since it's easier to use as opposed to liquid. But hey, it depends on how much coverage you want. I don't have acne or anything of that sort so I prefer low coverage. I use MAC Mineralize Powder in Medium. It's baked so it's healthy for your skin!

Concealer is pretty important for covering blemishes, spots, marks, undereye bags, etc. I usually skip concealer because I don't have anything I need to hide. If I've stayed up pretty late, I will use it the next day since it's not attractive to have bags haha. In looking for a concealer, you need to find one a shade or two lighter than your natural skin tone so it will adjust to the darkening of your skin.

Mascara is the staple of all my makeup! With the help of an eyelash curler, you can make yourself look more alive and awake than ever before. I love mascara, I love how it makes my lashes look super long and thick. It opens up your eyes as well. All you would need is a good eyelash curler (I use Shu Erma's eyelash curler, a heft $20 but it's so worth it..) and your favorite mascara (I use brown for the day, black for night since it's more harsh. I use Diorshow and Clinique). In addition to eye makeup, I use eyeliner so I can define my eyes. Same colors as mascara, brown for day, black for the evening.

I also use eyeshadow, three basic colors for a natural and fresh look: dark matte brown, shimmery bronze color, and a neutral shimmery white-ish color. The dark brown goes on my lid, the bronze color goes over the brown and I blend them together, then I highlight my browbone with that neutral shimmery color (close to white and a tan color). You don't have to use eyeshadows. If time is a concern, skip all this, and just use mascara because it WILL make a difference.

Bronzer and blush will add color as I have said before. I alternate between bronzer and blush. A coral pink blush will add a pop of color to your face, depending on your skin tone. But you can't go wrong with bronzer! IF you use blush, you want the color to be concentrated on the apples of your cheeks. To do this, you smile and you brush on the blush on the apples of your cheeks and you blend the color outward but not past your eyes. For bronzer, you can apply it on your cheeks, basically it's an all-over your face kind of makeup so you can do that however you want =]

I always wear chapstick and some natural lipgloss. I'm not a fan of clear lipglosses. I usually wear a nude lipgloss with a touch of shimmer, or a tan color to emphasize the natural look.

Yeah, I usually spend 10 minutes doing this.

I know this is long, but I wanted to be detailed!
