Quick poll - are gift vouchers ok to give as birthday presents?

There is no guessing what the recipient wants or concerns about returning an item because it was the wrong size, wrong color, wrong whatever.  

The recipient can choose his/her item of preference and will most likely appreciate the fact that he/she received a gift card/voucher rather than something he/she is not expecting or wants.

Side note:  Amazon.com gift certificates are really major cool 'cause Amazon has EVERYTHING to choose from and they are a reliable source with a solid reputation for ensuring the buyer is satisfied with any purchased merchandise.

Yeah sure they're great! even better if the gift vouchers from a store that they like or sells thing they like!

I think those are wonderful gifts to give. That way, the person can pick something out he or she would like. If you buy the person a gift, maybe he or she won't like it..
