  1. agree with Jules

  2. If you're asking about bikes with CVT transmission, that seems to be restricted presently to scooters.   Most bikers sniff at scooters.  Bad mistake.  The CVT power chain is very very efficient. The accelleration of bikes such as the Honda twin previously mentioned will leave many a Harley behind, and smoothly, quietly, with no fuss.   Whether CVT can be used successfully on Sports Bikes, I don't know.

Remember the big plusses with CVT.  No Clutch.  No gears. No chain.  No noise.  No vibration.

    So who NEEDS a Harley?

Got to agree that the more control of the machinery the better though. Any automatic bike will be more expensive and heavier.

  4. Yamaha makes a 1300 with an electronic clutch.  You still have to shift but, you don't have a clutch lever.  It's on the high end in terms of pricing.

  5. not yet, honda is working on the dn-01, it should be out soon...

for now you're stuck with a honda silverwing (600 cc scooter)

  6. Bigger question;  WHY?

I love the feel of shifting gears & twisting the throttle.

That's me, in control.  Why would anyone want to give that up?  If you want an automatic, get a nice safe, boring car.

  7. If you consider a scooter to be nice looking, or a sports bike, then yes, if not, you are limited to Mikes Bike from OCC. Which I dont consider to be nice looking or a sports bike

Sorry, I know a few companies are developing them though.

  8. No. There aren't any nice looking sports bikes without automatics either.
