Quick question about American Eagle?!!!?

Ive always shopped at hollister and abercrombie, I dont know how to explain it, but is AE somewhat "upper class" like hollister and abercrombie ? Like do lots of people shop there just like HCO and A&F? I hope you know what I mean, or is AE not as popular??

It's popular but I wouldn't consider it (or HCO or A&F) expensive like higher end brands, Ralph Lauren and Lacoste, whose polos cost like $80, but if you like the clothes buy it.

nope. american eagle is not upper class. i think its at the bottom of hco and A&F. first there clothes are cheaper, quality isnt that great and there styles are some wat repetitive.

AE is 'popular' too... I think it's less cheap than Holl.. and A&F... but I like the clothes there... sometimes i go there to see whats new..!

i like american eagle a lot. i understand what your meaning about "upper class".... but i mean really... is it that important to look "rich"? but AE has lots of cute stuff as well :]

Er...I would consider none of those brands "upper class"...those brands are mainly for middle schoolers and some high schoolers, so even though its targeted for 20-somethings, they usually grow out of it by then. At my school, a lot of girls shop at all three of those stores, because they're all around the same cost and style.

It's not as much as a prep store. If it's not a prep store, it's not popular. But it's actually much better quality and it's a really good store.

AE is really popular.

however, that stuff is really boring. shirts with a brand name? don't you want colorful patterns or funny messages? you must be a real bore.

American Eagle is just as upper class. You will see lots of rich people wearing just as much american eagle as hollister & abercrombie.

I'd put AE just below abercrombie.

But to me that is a good thing. For me, a decent pair of Levis is better than any of the clothing sold in those stores.

Well I think AE is really popular, but maybe not as much as abercrombie..

But i love AE.. wayy more than abercrombie and hollister because AE has sizes that actually fit real people and they shorts/skirts arent sooooo short!

its just as popular. anything in the hollister and A&F price range is just a popular. and i hope u shop in the clearance section cuz those places are expensive. try old navy or aeropostale or wet seal.

ae is not as popular because they show people having fun in the grass rather that grabbing eachother in the ***.

....teenagers seem to like that more.
