Quick question about Bit Torrent.?

I'm new to downloading torrent files, and I just wanna make sure of something. To get the "____" from the torrent file, you open bit torrent, file, add torrent, then wait for the download to be finished, right?

Also, is there a BETTER torrent program, other than Bit Torrent?

Yes that is correct on the download.

I think uTorrent is a better choice.  BitTorrent is now essentially uTorrent (with some extra baggage).   This guide has a good discussion of a number of bittorrent clients and makes several suggestions:

Yes, sounds like you understand torrent files. When I was on a PC, I liked uTorrent better than BT. Now that I am on a Mac, I use Tomato Torrent and like that.

download  bit comet is way way faster than bit torrent I was downloading some big file like 6 gb with Bit torrent i had to wait a week to get to 47% with Bit Comet i waited about 3 days to download the whole file
