Hi I am gonna get a crosman c11 airmag as a side arm.I did the math and this is the velocity that I found on this gun.

400 fps .12

360 fps .20

320 fps .28

280 fps .36

Does using really heavy ammo on a co2 gun mess it up and is my math correct.P.S how many joules of energy would a .36 produce?

  1. you should use the ammo that it says you should use

    airsoft guns are made for a certain size of ammo

    so you should use that

    and i am pretty sure that the correct size will give you the highest fps

  2. I need far more information. Barrel length for starters.

    Force = mass x acceleration

    I need barrel length in meters to determine acceleration correctly. Then I can get you an answer in newtons. But joules are work and not force.

    I'll hazard a guess though, .002 newtons.

    In contrast, my real rifle does 210.8 newtons.
