  1. answer this question "why does spinning make you dizzy"

Here is a good easy to understand write up - the reference link is shown below

"Your semicircular canals are three tiny, fluid-filled tubes in your inner ear that help you keep your balance. When your head moves around, the liquid inside the semicircular canals sloshes around and moves the tiny hairs that line each canal. These hairs translate the movement of the liquid into nerve messages that are sent to your brain.

Your brain then can tell your body how to stay balanced. If you spin around and then stop, the liquid inside your semicircular canals moves awhile longer and the hairs continue to send the message that you are spinning even though you're not. That's why you feel dizzy after carnival or amusement park rides. Whoa!"

You can do a great demonstration using a 2 liter soda bottle filled with water and add something like little candy nerds.  With the cap on, of course, hold the top of the bottle and spin it around - when you stop the water & nerds will continue to spin demonstrating the concept you will read about above.

    Hope that helps.

  3. Paper Towel Experiment is a classic. The testing only take about an hour, and if you do well on your board and data analysis you'll get an A for sure. A couple out Scientific Questions people did for my Science Fair where:

Which paper towel has the highest absorbency?

Easy to test, take the least time.

Do people function better in the morning or at night?

Draw up a math problem sheet and quiz at least three people twice, in the morning and at night. It takes a day, you can just do some math with it and slap their tests on the board.

Which brand of marker is more washable? Take a finished piece of wood and draw on it in three different brands of washable markers, take a sponge with soap and water and count the strokes it take to wipe it off.

You could do a lot, that are easy to build off of after seeing these, I think it would be best if you thought up your own but I don't care.  My best advice for you though, I know you're rushed but MAKE SURE YOU TEST MORE THAN ONCE! It's very important not to think even though you're rushing that you can only do one test, three is best but at least do two.

    Good Luck!
