I am hoping this section is the most appropriate place for this question.
I plan on cross-dressing for Halloween, but I also plan on being convincing, not a caricature drag queen.
Anyway, despite not having a costume planned out yet, I hope to try to further create the illusion within this roughly two month time period.
My face is apparently feminine enough to pass as a girl with a cheap, disheveled costume wig, and with no make-up on. Only while clean shaven, of course.
My body, however, requires a bit more work.
Anyway, what kinds of stores sell non-prescription female hormones? Would they be ineffective without testosterone suppressants?
I'm a tiny bit pudgy, but I believe I've read that female hormones shift fat to areas such as the hips and buttocks, which would likely assist the look.
Then again, I may not pursue that if I can find the items below.
What kinds of stores would carry things such as a gaff for genital hiding, a corset/girdle/any similar clothing, leg slimmers, and any other clothes that help create a female form?
I would assume a corset could be found at a thrift store or an intimate/s*x costume shop.
Now, in case I end up choosing a costume (Leaning towards a 20s flapper at the moment) that needs them, where could I find heels in a men's size 11 or 12?
I'd also like to say that I am avoiding internet purchases like the plague, mainly to keep this a secret from either of my parents.
They're the type of people who find it nigh impossible to believe that a straight male can crossdress, and it would lead to an embarassing discussion after which they probably wouldn't be convinced anyway.
If that's the ONLY option, however, I'll go ahead and explain that it's just for the night and fun, though if I am convincing enough, I may just pursue a career as a female impersonator.
Well, I think that covers it, I am unsure, though. I will be 18 in a little less than two weeks, if the question arises.
Thanks for any help provided. I also deeply apologize if this is the wrong section.
