Quick text messaging question?

if you text a home phone or landline will it say message sent on your phone or will it say invalid number or something? how do you know if you texted a landline or a cell?

if your in the US and you texted a land line, you'll recieve a text message back saying "The numer you texted was a land line) or something like that. But it all depends on carrier. the only company that i know of that reads the message to the reciever is Virgin Mobile

In the UK if you send a text message to a land line, the messaging service will call the land line and read the message out when someone answers the phone - I've done it many times before, when I've been short of credit to get someone to call me back!

You should be able to check your sent messages to see which number you sent the text message too.
