Question:

Quick way to fix split ends?? Help!?

I just got my hair cut 3 days ago.

and i noticed a section of my hair in the back of my head, the ends were a lot drier and felt a lot worse then the rest of my hair. and i pulled them forward and looked at them close, and they're still split ends.

would it be a quick fix if i just snipped the split ends that i found and that's it?

because my hair is already too short for me, my hair is SUPER thick so it looks like c**p when it's short, so could i just snip the split ends i find instead of going and getting more of my hair cut off?

please help.

  1. That would be most unusual to find split ends only 3 days after you got it cut!!  Unbelievable!

You may be doing something drastically wrong for that to happen.

Cutting off the split ends only makes them shorter.  If it's already too short, how can that help?  But cutting them off is the only way to stop them -- but if you keep doing the same thing, they will re-appear again in a short time.

Be sure you are using a good product for your hair.  Most of the drugstore shampoos are not any good and will definitely cause split ends.  Some conditioners only stick the hair together -- that doesn't prevent split ends.

  2. just snip what you need to and change you shampoo and conditioner.

buy aussie for thirsty hair and get the 3 minute deep conditioner.

  3. Just trim ur hair. In order to avoid split ends in future give a oil pack to ur hair regularly. warm olive oil, almond oil or coconut oil and apply in ur scalp and ur whole hair and leave it overnight. or else after applying oil cover ur head with a warm towel. after an hour give ur hair a nice wash witha good conditioner. This really helps a lot

  4. I have really long hair and had a heap of split ends, I was unable to go to the hairdressers to get them cut off so i snipped them off myself. I think that it's a quick fix coz otherwise it just keeps splitting and looks really cr*p lol Just snip enough so that it stops the split if you know what I mean, and as soon as it grows out a bit more get it cut just a lil bit.

  5. snip off some of the split ends before getting more cut off. deep conditioners, and leave-in conditioners are the key to help moisturize the ends of your hair for a smooth and shiny split end free look. also minimal use of hot irons or curlers will prevent split ends because the heat will dry out and damage your hair! use a straightening spray hair protectant

    good luck:)
