Quick way to heal leg soreness?

i just the cross country team at my school and i hadn't ran for almost the whole summer. so i ran with the group who was going for 2.5 miles and barely got through it. we did the weight room after as well. anyway, today i'm so sore, and there's practice again today. what can i do to make my muscles feel better so i can run again?

  1. Theres this Chinease medicin and you rub it on your body (in your case legs) it helps in like 2 mins. I dont remmeber what its called but if you go to Shoppers Drug Mart they have it there. The only downside if u smell terrible so put it on before bed and take a shower in the morning and use LOTS of soap


  2. Ice will  always help. If its your whole legs and if you can take the freezing cold pain fill a bath tub with cold water then add icecubes and sit in it. This will make all of your legs feel better. Also try rub on muscel relivers such as icey hot or Bengay.

  3. Ice them. That will probably help the most. Make sure you stretch after runnning, it will help prevent the soreness.
