Quickbooks Pro 2008 installed on

Quickbooks Pro 2008 installed on XP SP2Quickbooks say this is a windows issue. I believe otherwise.A brand new computer with XP SP2 - loaded QB Pro 2008. When starting the program a grey box pops up stating that the registration txt file needs to removed and QB reinstalled.The program goes no further than stay in this loop when you try the above then sends an error report to intuit. This is genuine software and license.Have reinstalled, cleaned registries and even done a fresh reinstallation of XP any suggestions would help...
