Quickbooks user please help! should previous charges show up..?

Question

when you're entering a charge for a credit card, should the information for the previous charge be showing up? I'm deleting old information every time... that makes no sense.. is it my settings or something?? I appreciate your help! I'm a new business owner and need a hand with this.. thanks!

Odd. Mine starts blank and ready to go, with the current balance in the top right. QB doesn't let you leave without prompting you to save your work. Unless somehow you're click on Previous in the top left?

In the main QB window, go to Find and select Credit Card in the transaction type, then click Find to the right. That will determine whether your input charges are being saved, or not saved, or what.

If they're being saved, then I have no idea what's wrong, but at least your files are okay.

The information for the previous charge usually only shows up when you have not saved it.
