Quickest way of getting an associates degree?

I want to know if i take courses online form an accriditted college would i finish quicker? or if i take courses online from a community college like john jay college? Is it possible to finish in less the a year? thanks

It depends on how the curriculum is delivered as well as the course load you take.  Brick and mortar schools and online schools typically have pre-determined semester lengths, typically 4-5 months. They charge by the credit and it is up to you to decide how much you want to pay at a time and how many classes you want to take.

    There are however schools that are completely self paced and you can finish in 12-16 months if you have the discipline.  One school that I know of is mckinleycollege.edu

  3. You could possibly finish in a year or year and a half if you take a full course load in addition to taking full course loads during the summer session. Meet with an academic counselor explore your options. Also, sometimes you can get credit for life experience as well, for instance if you work in a particular field etc. I hope this helps.
