Quickest way to get rid of gnats?

There is a whole swarm of gnats at my work, and they are driving me NUTS! The spray does not seem to get rid of them, is there another way I can get rid of these things quickly?!?!?! Thanks!!

If you are working outside then Ortho has a spray that hooks to the end of the hose hose that works great. It is for mosquitoes but works for gnats also.

If its inside or outside for that matter tuck a sheet of bounce fabric softener in the neck of your shirt and they will stay out of your face.

Also spraying OFF around the area and on your shirt will help also.

ohh my grandma had the same problem and she got this little zapper thing that is shaped like a tennis raquet and zappes and kills the bugs

If drying everything out to include you plants isn't an option there is another more "natural" way that I use that works well.

Get a small canning or jam jar pour 1 inch of cider vinegar in it then put a piece of Saran wrap over the top. Poke several holes in the saran wrap they fly in but cant get out and die!!

Bug zapper. Fly tape. They can't fly forever.

They have to land sometime. Make them pay when they do.

Be very careful with poisons and sprays.

Their residue may kill the wrong kinds of insects or other animals altogether. I wouldn't even bother with them. Try Citronella candles or torches, instead.

Of course, investigating and removing possible breeding/hatching sources is also important. These guys reproduce on such a large scale that you really have to think beyond the current generation of gnats you are facing.

The best way is to figure out where they're coming from and stop it up.  Cleaning up or poisoning whatever is drawing them also helps.  See if you can find a sticky spot/open food/old trash/whatever and take care of it.  If they're coming from a drain, try pouring bleach down it.
