Question:

Quickest way to solve a Rubik's Cube...?

My technique that I use already:

1. White cross.

2. White corners. (Solve first layer)

3. Solve 2nd layer by filling in sides.

4. Make yellow cross.

5. Match edge pieces with center pieces.

6. Place corners in right place.

7. Rotate individual corners until solved.

I can usually do this all in under two minutes, quickest time using this was 1 min 21 secs. But I can't get any quicker. Any other techniques to getting it solved in around 1 min 20 secs. or shorter?

(I can't flick, unless someone explains it...because it slows me up rather.)

  1. There's always a quickest way to solve a Rubik's cube!

    What you are using is a beginner's method.

    What you want to use is the advanced method.

    Go to the links on the bottom, you should become faster if you practice over and over:

    Those top ones shows you the Fridrich's method, which are the most common ones. The method is used by most of the speedcubers.
