Quiet Route eying first victory in SIS Live Maiden Stakes
Quiet Route has got a great chance of brining up his maiden victory in the sport, by claiming the SIS Live Maiden Stakes at Ripon in England on Monday, August 27, 2012. He will have to overcome 13 other runners in order to win a cash prize of £2,588 from
the class-5 event.
All the participants in the 1 mile race are inexperienced, thus it will be extremely hard to predict the winner accurately. However, there are a few very well bred runners, who will get the attention of the punters at the end of the day.
Luckily, the weather has been dry over the past couple of days at Ripon, which means that none of the participants will have any issues with the track conditions. The bookmakers have given pretty decent odds to Soviet Dream and Star Lahib, thus the spectators
will be expecting a tough competition amongst them.
However, the above mentioned runners will have to face a fierce challenge from Quiet Route, who has got a very good stamina. He has got some experience as well, which will be extremely useful for him in the end. He has been priced 5 to 1 by the bookies and
the punters will definitely place a lot of bets on him.
The three-year-old gelding has appeared in four races until now, but has never managed to win any of them. This is not a good sign for his team, but he will be looking forward to make amends this time around.
Interestingly, the Brian Ellison’s trainee made his debut at Ripon as well. He was unable to finish in the top three, but displayed decent skills in the end to secure the fourth place. The race was affected by rain, thus he had to put in some extra effort
back then.
However, things will be a lot easier for the Irish runner today, as the going has been described as good. He finished as a runner up once in his career, which shows that he has the ability to fight for victories.
Quiet Route was given pretty decent odds in his previous race, but failed to make a big impression in the end. He had decent speed, but had to settle for fourth place. Sean Levey will be the one partnering him at Ripon today and the pair has a strong chance
of fighting for a victory.
