Quinceanera help!? Ideas?

I'm in the process of preparing for my quince in January 31. I don't have much time considering all I have set up is the date and hall. I'm also positive that the color theme has to be purple! I'm gonna have a black limo. I don't know if I should get a white dress with purple detail or an all purple dress. Maybe a little black too. I'm gonna have a court of couples. Does it matter how many couples? 6 or 7? I don't know what the overall theme should be or if there should even be a theme. I've seen some hat shaped cakes that I would like and I would also have the boys of my court wear fancy hats and pass them to the girls in the coreography. What I am having most trouble thinking of is the centerpieces. I really need ideas for affordable centerpieces!?! Well that's pretty much all I'm asking for, but please include any other ideas you might have to make my quince the BOMB! I'm willing to read any opinions.
