Quinsman looks strong for Hughes Electrical Fakenham Handicap Hurdle
Since the dawn of the calendar year, Quinsman has made a number of podium finishes that speak volumes of his racing capabilities and ongoing momentum. During the last two months, he accomplished two marvellous victories in a row.
Now, the Caroline Bailey  trained bay gelding is keen to make his first Fekenham trip successful by winning the Hughes Electrical Fankenham Handicap Hurdle that will be run on Friday.
The Class 3 race of £6,330 is going to be a big trail for the six-year-old veteran horse who has 43 starts to his name. He has to compete against seven strong rivals over the good to soft track of 2 miles, 7 furlongs and 110 yards.
For the last two weeks, Quinsman has been preparing hard for this contest. It is hoped that he will manage to adjust her feet to this new ground.
Most of the times in his career, he has run over standard or good surfaces. Soft soil is a bit harder to manage for every runner, but Bailey hopes that his pupil will do it easily.
The son of Singspiel out of Penny Cross has achieved 8 triumphs so far. He performed exceptionally well in each of his last four starts.
After finishing as the runner-up in B Eyre & Son Ltd Ford Novices' Hurdle on July 21, he registered a grand victory by beating the hot favourite runner, Clarion Call, with the margin of 2 lengths in the Betfair Supports Grassroots Racing At Bangor Maiden Hurdle. It was an impressive performance indeed.
The C. W. Booth owned talented gelding went ahead to win John Amer & Michael Sweeney Memorial Novices' Hurdle (John Wade And Collins Seafoods Hurdle Series) at Sedgefield. He again stood second in his last outing on October 2.
In the light of these stats, it is easy to believe that Quinsman will prove to be a prospect of entertainment for the spectators in the coming contest. The bettors must also stake their money on him.
Let us see how the experienced horse manages to cope with this challenge and come up to the hopes of his trainer and fans. Good luck to him.
