Quiting a job to get a new one?

OK I just got this job at target pushin carts which is the worse because its hot and we dont have the machine like all the otha super wal-mart and super target stores i been working there for maybe 2-3 weeks so far but CIRCUIT CITY just called me asking for a interview FRIDAY (TOMORROW) at 5 pm but i got to work 2-9:30...Im just gonna go to the interview on my lunch...but i need to kno how many interviews are they and should I really leave...help me out plz

These aren't high level jobs, they will probably forgive you if you come back late from lunch.

When they called for an interview why didn't you tell them that you were available only until about noon because you were scheduled to work in the afternoon?  You can't go, have an interview and get back within your break time...that is wrong and irresponsible to come back late, you have a commitment to be at your current job at that time and that is wehre you should be.  What if you don't get a job after the interview and get fired for taking off during your break and not getting back to  work on time?
