  5. Enough with the horwse questions unless you want to say that is what they are.

Actually the correct answers for real horses are

black and chestnut for the base colors (bay actually is a black base with the agouti gene.

Average gestation of a mare is 340 to 341 days (depending on what research you go by)  That would be 48 1/2 weeks if I did my math right in my head.

    AI is artificial insemination

The correct answer for the stallion question is it depends on the mare and the stallion.  Some stallions only pasture breed but most are trained to breed while on a lead.

The time it takes to foal depends on the mare.  But it can take anywhere from half and hour to ten.  I would say 2 to 4 is the general time that the mare will actually be foaling.  Though she will shoe signs prior to this.

Regulating hormones in real horses are estrogen progesterone and oxytocyin even though the horwse game wants oxytocin I believe.

Mares are usually bred in spring but some breeders prefer fall.

Of course you should consider all those factors plus the value of the foal afterwards.

Red is one form of chestnut.  Thus chestnut is considered the base color since you can have non red (sorrel) chestnuts.

The gestation is 340 days which is why you figure a due date at 11 months plus 5 days.

Why in the world even the game would not realize that all three hormones are pregnancy regulating hormones I do not know.
