What is this, homework?

Giving you the benefit of the doubt (and because I love analyzing things)...

It's cautioning you against becoming so focused on logical details (the precise hour, minute and second a clock can give you), that you overlook quality (sunrise, noon, sunset - the time of day in a broad sense).  It's telling you to loosen up.
