  1. the way i see this quote is that it expresses the distance between an individual and the element of death itself.....it showed me that to the writer,death is something which is unpredictable......it do exist,but then the time of contact remain unknown.....in turn,making death to be feared by all of mankind because it may occur anytime,anywhere.....i leave the rest to you.....


  2. I think he means that its a passing point from one life to the afterlife. Your friends in one place (life) you'll see in the other. (afterlife)
