I'd like some quotes about being friends again, appreciating friends, friends from the past, and/or so on.

Because my ex boyfriend and I were the best of friends before/while we were dating.. I don't want him to throw it away because I was always loyal, understanding, caring, fun, and just everything you could ask for in a friend.

People in your life are like trees.  Some are leaves, others are branches, and a few are solid tree trunks.  Leaves come and go when the season changes.  Branches are more dependable than leaves but they still sometimes fall.  But the solid tree trunks are rooted and there for a lifetime.  They last even through a storm.
