I'm trying to write some papers on movies and can't find the correct way of quoting important lines from the script into my paper. My brief new century handbook just isn't cutting it.

  1. you use "" then write by/said/ect characters name

    example

"Eat the beans before i shove them down your throat" yelled MiSSjAY

    hope i helped

  2. Material quoted (either from viewing or from reading a published script) may be treated like dialogue in fiction: As Samantha says at the end of the scene, "_______."

If an extended exchange is quoted you may treat it like lines of dialogue from a play, indicating all the speakers.
