Qustions about my new tv and my cable service? PLEASE HELP!!?

I recently bout a 50" LG 1080p LCD TV. I dont have HD channels yet but every one of my regular channels are really blurry and have alot of static. Is there n e thing I can do about this?

Get an antenna and see if you can get any free local HD channels.  You can use any antenna.  Some antennas are directional, meaning you point them in a certain direction.  Some are omnidirectional.  It all depends on your location and how close/far you are from the broadcasting station.  Read source below for more information.

Think your TV as a High Definition magnifying glass. With a non-HD signal going into it, it's only magnifying all the imperfections of that signal.
