R/C Nitro Cars: On-Road or Off-Road?

Question

I'm just looking for fun, thats it. I live in a place with roads (no track) and sand. I've chosen my favorite two in my price range:

Which one would you take & why?

change the tires on an off roader and they tend to be fun on road too so why limit yourself if you aren't competing?
