  1. well, were to start... hmm. for starters, nitro is not a plug-and-play hobbie. there is alot of tuning involved wich is a constant part of the hobbie. you will go thru plenty of parts so make sure whatever you get, you can get parts for easly like a traxxas or hpi.

    1) no. most of the time it is an extra purchase unless stated. unless stated, you will need a glo starter and charger, reciever pack and charger as well as remote bateries, fuel bottle and fuel

    2) nitro fuel is about $28.00 per gallon. it will last about a month if you run every weekend and some times during the week.

3)never heard of them. try these guys. there huge. also look for a local hobby store and find out what brands they carry. even if they dont stock your model. they will atleast be able to order parts for you and save you the shipping cost..tower hobies. one of the largest online rc stores in the world! ther like walmart!

4)is it hard... no. but it takes alot of pationts and some time. you just dont fire it up and go. you have to make sure the airfilter is clean after every tank, you have to adjust the carb before each run. and check the temps to make sure it doesnt over heat, also maintaining the electrics, like the servo's and stuff by making sure they are adjusted properly for brakes throttle and stearing. also the cleaning. they must be kept clean. if not they wont run right. stuf will start binding up and gears will strip. motor will run hot and it will be hard to start. and then theres the after run maintonance. you have to clean the airfilter and blow off all the dirt and grime, empty out the fuel and put after run oil thru the motor so it doesnt rust. and thats not it either.. i left alot out.. this isnt to discurage you. its just to inform you. it could be alot. but once you figure it all out, its loads of fun and will be second nature to you. thers nothing like ripping up a ball field at 60mph and tairing up the parking lot as well as excedding the speed limit on your street. people usaully stare in disbelief at how crazy those little things are. and its an addiction. i got my firts rc when i was 17 and had the same questions you did.. im 32 and still going strong with a huge collection of nitro's and gas cars and trucks. check out this forum. its all rc related and will answer all your questions. if you have anything specific, just sign up and ask away!!!
