R.I.P Skip Caray. Your thoughts?

I have two things to say here. I grew up listening to Skip call the Atlanta Braves games on TBS, and really enjoyed it when it was Skip and Chip calling the games together. What are you thoughts on Skip? Also, I have been off and on watching ESPN all day, and I have yet to see a mention of his passing, did I miss it or is this getting no coverage?

I live in NJ. This was on all of the local TV stations and sports radio this morning.

ESPN, excuse me, will only give attention to Yankees and Red Sox announcers. When Bob Murphy (Mets' radio announcer) died, they handled it the same way.

i thought skip was great i live in st louis and became a braves fan because of his voice. ESPN did give him his due, not nearly like the Yankee broadcaster who recently passed away.

His passing has been mentioned everywhere, but not on the same level as his father or some other announcing titans. Skip was good and he will be missed.

Good man we are all going to Miss Him, Like him Watching The Braves on TBS now his son Chip is on TBS covering MLB on TBS and you know about his Father Harry well Its in the Blood of the carey's covering Baseball games.

what!?!?!?!?! Skips dead!!!???? He was awesome! No NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO... no one ever tells me this!
