Question

How do they react towards interviewers? Are they humble, down-to-earth? Or are they arrogant? How much or little of their private life do they like to reveal? If you can, post an interview or two.

I have seen some of my favorite musicians come off as being snobish and it usually hasn't affected my loyalty to them...it kinda pisses me off when it is a band interview and one person talks the whole time....this is my favorite interview even though it is fake  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=35waIijoy...

BQ- I guess I'd have to say that personality of the band/artist isn't that important.....its just a big plus when they are respectable guys.....if you know what I mean.....

Jimmy Page is my favorite musician, and this is my favorite interview with him... he seems so shy and humble. I can't imagine that this is the same person who went on to perform at venues like MSG and reach an almost non-human state...

It was such a horrible interview that I found it to be funny. They don't do many interviews though. In this interview they appear to be arrogant but that's because the interviewer was not prepared and they are pretty shy.

BQ: I don't really care too much about their personalities. If they make great music that's all I care about.

Haha, this one's my favorite. They do so bad in interviews, they are terrible shy. This has to be the worst interview ever (though the interviewer was equally terrible too.)

It really depends. I wouldn't say Tarja was particularly arrogant in her interviews overall, but I think I've seen a few where she toots her own horn, so to speak. Pretty down to earth it seems.

BA: It does not affect my enjoyment of the music, just my opinion about the band or artist's personality. They can be total *****, as long as the music is good. Hey, it's not like they're paying my bills or anything. I'll never meet them. Why do I care what they're like in real life?

Of course, my respect for them is just that much higher if they're kind and appreciative of their fans though.

Haha any interview by Mike Patton (Faith No More, Mr.Bungle,Tomahawk,etc.). He's hilarious and whenever he was on MTV, he always give them c**p. I love it
