I'm not a fan really, but I have to admit it made for a REALLY fun night going to a theater in L.A. when I was about 17 and seeing it with all the fanfare. They really did it up right and it was a very good time. Even as someone who isn't really a fan I think it's utterly insane that they are remaking it. Apparently nothing is sacred, nothing can simply stand untouched, even when it's something that is so special because of it's originality. At least not when they can make a couple bucks at the gate. If they want to give the movie to the next generation, give them the real movie. Argh.

I love Rocky Horror Pictures. I've been wanting to see a midnight showing for a while now.

Yes and I have the soundtrack also.  Love the movie.  Tim Curry is awesome!

Back in the day, me and my pals would go to the midnight show at the local cinema.  Wow!  The people that would come in costume were great and of course you would take "props" to interact w/the movie.

Example:  The scene when it was raining while Brad & Janet were walking to the castle, you would put a newspaper over your head like Janet while others had spray bottles that created the "rain".  Someone said "Great Scott!"  and you would throw toilet paper.  A scene that someone would say "shall we make a toast?" You would throw toast...you get the idea.  A lot of fun!!

MQ:  Science Fiction/Double Feature, Dammit Janet and Over at the Frankenstein Place, and........

For sure, and the appearance of Meat Loaf makes me laugh every time! It's not my number one favourite movie, but I like it alot.

I've seen it well over a hundred times.  When I was in college I'd often go to the 12 A.M. showing on Sunday Mornings.

My favorite song is "Sweet Transvestite" because no one but Tim Curry could pull that off and look so great doing it.
