That's hilarious.

As a singer, songwriter, musician, I actually have an explanation why even people with very good voices would lip sync at a performance. Singing is very physical; it involves the diaphragm and lungs immensely. So when a singer is dancing around and creating a "performance", he or she is a lot shorter of breath and has a higher heart rate. Therefore, singing becomes hard to do very correctly. People who don't lip sync and just stand there are labeled "boring," and people who don't lip sync and prance around are bashed for their "horrible voices". It's because their out of breath that they aren't in top shape.

So that's really why. I don't really agree with lip syncing, and I think it's funny too, but I'm just offering some sort of actual answer.

Haha that doesn't surprise me. I love how the audience is made up of 10 year old girls and their moms.

MQ: The only people who lip sync are the ones who have no talent. Lindsay Lohan, Ashlee Simpson, Hannah Montana, etc. should NOT be making music and the only reason they are is because it sells and they, along with the record companies, make a fortune off of it. They're not actually artists with talent, they're making music because they know every 10 year old girl is going to go out and buy it.

Because they can't sing. Just like airbrushing models, the studio does a lot to help a "singer" like Lindsay. I find it more insulting that she obviously did not know her own song  and would go on national TV and perform.

so now we have Ashley S. who really screwed up on SNL, Linz. L. who lip-syncs lame songs complaining about all the attention she gets from obsessed fans, the Paparazzi, magazines GIVE ME A FRIGGIN BRAKE and STFU because other stars like Helllen Hunt and J. Depp live in private and avoid it she loves and she knows it.

We have Milley Vanilly, The Beatles and The Jonas Brothers on record for Lip-syncing
