Do you ask this every few days to get a new perspective?

Okay instead of naming a big list, since everyone else has already given you one, I'll name Amberian Dawn (symphonic power metal - same vein as Nightwish, the vocalist is slightly annoying at times though). I recommend "Valkyries" and "River of Tuoni", although there are a few more good ones.

I also recommend Stolen Babies. Try "Push Button" and "A Year of Judges".

Alot of the bands listed are a good place to start. Sooo many great answers, but the best is unc with the vdeo. Kudos to u my friend. Jackyl fn rocks! They are great. I have the cd Choice Cuts. Pick that one up for sure. There was another band some may or may not remember and that is a band called Rhino Bucket. Also great.
