I think the list could go on forever.  Seeing that a whole lot of music pertains to "rock" and "pop" in general. I think it varies from independent to old rock 'n' roll, etc.  There are many "genres" that can be put under r&p.

I think I'm about the only person here who talks about Norther. lol

uhm, I think all the metal bands such as Arch Enemy, In Flames, Metallica, Tool, At The Gates, Dark Tranquility, Gojira, Opeth, Lamb Of God, Slayer, Black Sabbath, Megadeth, etc...all those bands need to STOP being talked about and talk about some less famous metal bands that people find over the internet and introduce them to R&P so we can have more bands to talk about.

I think all the classic rock or older rock bands such as Cream, Led Zeppelin, Yardbirds, Queen, Rush, The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Eric Clapton, The Doors and these classic rock musicians always being called the "best" it all just needs to stop...talk about lesser known bands people!

Also, Children of bodom, inflames, My dying bride(I'm coming to think that i'm the only ones who know them), Dimmu borgir, dark tranquillity, cradle of filth, satyricon(really really noone talks about it), Graveworm.

All i'm seeing is: Lamb of god, Godsmacked.....Slipknot

I don't really hear much about Ulver, Ikuinen Kaamos, Mgla, Walknut, Ajattara, Kalmah, Amorphis, Monster Magnet, Dark Lunacy, Haggard, or Nile.
