Lara Croft: I do not think Carcass is considered melodic death metal-their first records would be classified as grindcore and their later ones as death/thrash.But if I'm wrong and it IS, then I pick them too,but I think I'm right:P

edit:still doesn't make them melodic death metal but it's not really important so yeah...

Melodic Death Metal - Wintersun

Folk Metal - Ensiferum

Power Metal - Blind Guardian or maybe Lost Horizon

Edit:  Hey MikeX wears.... I dont think any of the bands you listed belong in those genres...except maybe machinehead.

Dragonforce is powermetal, and the rest of the bands listed are deathcore or metalcore

Also, I would consider Carcass albums Heartwork & Swangsong melodeath
