Question:

R&Sers, consider my rock...?

I have before me a rock. I say that it is my rock because I designed it. I have designed it, in fact, to appear in all respects as a natural rock. Go out and find a rock and you will have a decent example of how my rock might look, feel, smell, sound, and, for you freaky people, taste.

Now, if I took my rock and mixed it in with 99 rocks gathered at random from nature, how would you determine which one is my rock?

  1. Well, first I would have to assume that since you can type and can gather rocks in abundance - you have fingers...since you understand language and concepts, you must be a human...human fingers have finger-prints...I could test for your finger-prints, if you left decent one's on there at least...a rock could mar the ability to leave a decent set, as there are often difficulties when there is not a flat surface involved...it will take a great deal of time and study, but it might be worth it to find out which rock is yours, since you have claimed to design it....a rock being thousands (if not millions) of years in geologic structuring, it would mean that you therefore too must be of at least that same age...unless you're lying...

  2. The signature that you creators always put on your creations, plus the sharpie mark I made on it.

  3. I guess yours would still be warm and sweaty from your hands.  And for freaky people, salty.  Am I close?

But we'll never know will we?  Because you're not having *my* rock.  It's mine I tell you!  Which makes you one rock short of a puzzle!  Ha!  Go figure that one smarty!

    .

  4. I would call it...

  5. Assuming everything you said is correct...

I'd have to ask you which one it is.
