  2. Simple story: it took me away from my community of friends and it did not work out.

  3. I was for about a few months. He was in a completely different country, but I still managed to find out he cheated on me. Jerk face.

So now I don't believe in them anymore, they're too much work, especially if you're not committed to the relationship.

  4. wow that's so amazing im very impressed gold star for you I guess you guys have true love... no i haven't they are to difficult for me when a guy asks I say no

  5. Yeah. He lives about a 16 hour drive away- we've never met and got banned from talking on the phone. We still talk. He's pretty rad. We've had 5 years.

  6. NO

  7. Sorta, I met a guy on vacation in Europe a few years ago and this year we met again, it's hard because I really like him and this year we got really close together.

  8. My boyfriend and I live several states away from each other (I live in Virginia and he lives in California), we have a very strong and loving relationship, among a few problems - no relationship is without - for about 9 almost 10 months now.

  9. Yea i am in a long distance relationship. I'm 15 and my bf is in ny and I'm all the way in sc. But I'm hopefully going to move to Maryland which will be closer and i hope to see him.

  10. Yes I am my boyfriend lives in LA and we are about 48 hours away.  I met him in preschool and we were friends at first then became closer I love him extremely and really miss him, he was into acting and got a role in a t.v. show he is gone shooting diffrent episodes almost all the time.  I never get to see him but it doesnt stop us. -=].

good luck with your boyfriend,  im impressed you need lots of devotion to  hang on to a long distance relationship

  11. I was and i only got to see him a few times a year! We didn't work out though because he was always too busy to talk to me on the phone and stuff =/ But good luck anyway!! ;)

  12. I was, when i was 15... i really did love him and we went out for about 8-9months and i still have mild feelings for him.

keep strong, youve made it really far !! :) thats so cute, i bet you guys will end up living together

  13. No and I don't plan to ever be in one again.  Too many what ifs and unless my boyfriend is in Iraq or something fighting the war, he's going to be right next to me when I need him and I will see him more than 3 times a yr!

  14. i WAS i a long distance relationship, for about 5 months, then he dumped me, and  i was in another one for about 7 months, and he broke up with me to :'(

  15. i always thought that long distance relationships didnt work. but i guess for some people it does....good for  you..

  16. its complicated, she just moved and we still love eachother

  17. hey.....same here and i know how you feel.i'v been wif my bf for almost 6 years and 4 years out of that has been long distance.i know its hard but i have learn that another perwson should only make you happier....not happy.....understand?...YOU have to make yourself happy and that your bf adds to that happiness.i have learn that i can't just stop my life and wait around for him.i go out wif my friends all the time.i learn new skills or i pick up new hobby so that it enriches my life and he discover something new about me everytime he comes visits. because we dont have a fix visiting schedule i sometime dont see him at all for the whole year.i do get jealous, like i feel like its not fair everyone else can hug or kiss their lover anytime they want but at the end of the day i say to myself.......all the hugs and kisses in the world wont matter if that person doesn't really love you....so i'm just thankfull that my bf though faraway loves me unconditionally and trust me 100%

  18. YES, I AM MY BF LIVES 8 HRS AWAY BY DRIVING AND WE SEE EACH OTHER WHEN EVER WE CAN.

  19. You're old enough to know that by working on your relationship it can still work. You know what you have to do to keep it going, and you obviously trust him so there's no problem except for that you miss him. You could solve that by calling/texting/ you could get a webcam?

I'm trying to prepare myself as next year i'll be going off to university and my boyfriend will be staying here, it's nowhere near as far away as you and your boyfriend are but it's still scary for me to think about. You've kind of made me feel a bit better actually.

  20. YES!!!

We've only been together for 5 (6 on the 12th) months, and our WHOLE relationship is long distance. I've only seen her a couple times because we met over Winter Break...We're both 16, so we don't really have a say in seeing each other, so its been tough. Her mom doesn't approve of dating...And lately we haven't talked as much as we used to...Used to be twice a day, sometimes 3, now I get all happy if she calls me this week...I think the biggest thing in these types of relationships is trust. And we honestly do trust each other...Also saving each other for...each other.

    Thanks...haha.

  21. I've been in one once. I live in Virginia and he lives in Texas. He used to live in Virginia with me. He's my best friend and I'm completely in love with him but once he moved it just wasn't really working out. I miss him so much ):
