I named my dog Ducati. Now, the name is everywhere, but not the bike. Choppers are more popular.

Yes they are very popular. They make great racing bikes and just as good road machines. Not the best, but near as needed.

Yes. Those who like Ducatis ususally LOVE them, but they're not for everyone. I like Hondas myself; my fiance has a Repsol and an F4i. Go to any racing event, and you can usually tell who owns a Ducati.

Ducati probably has the fastest production bike if not the second fastest. The Ducati Desmosedeci RR when it comes out this year (right now it's MV Agusta). And Ducati is the only motorcycle manufacturer to make a street legal MotoGP bike. It's also the manufacturer with the most World Superbike wins.

I Have a Ducati 750 Supersport, but I fell in love with MV Agusta a year ago and now I need to get an F4 1000 R. MV Agusta right now has the fastest production motorcycle at 193mph. And the engine in the MV Agusta F4 is from a Ferrari Formula One race car engine.
