R neon car lights legal?

i just wanted to know if neon lights on a car is legal? i wanted to get some for my car!!!

If your car is at a car show, and not moving, then they're legal.

Any other time, you can get pulled over for causing a distraction to other drivers, causing a hazard, disturbing the peace, or a variety of other things that basically say the lights are annoying and you don't need them.
