  1. I have never heard anyone diss the Aussies or the olymipcs. Everyone and anyone I know of look at the Sydney Olypmics as one our finest moments. If that didn't make us love the Olymics I dont know what else would!

P.S. I am a Sydney girl myself. Aussie Aussie Aussie! Oi Oi Oi!

  2. Yes I thought it was really sad to hear that our uniforms were "plain",  "boring" or didn't look as good as the other countries, but the good thing is that we won't be able to hear about it for another 4 years :D

  3. I wasn't anti-Australian until I read your post.  Now I think that all Australian people are stupid, can't spell, and type in all caps.  You are not a good representative for your country.

  4. i must admit i was a volunteer at the Sydney Olympics one of 52,000 and on 2 occasions going to the Olympics in Olympic uniform  i was abused with words like You look like a D__k head in that hat and the other one was i am sick of seeing that stupid uniform

we are like every country in the world we have Idiots Imbeciles and Morons

but when it comes to the Olympics the non Achiever's are like empty barrels and i always have trouble deciding how intelligent they are most are Idiots but some are actually Imbecile's

I see i got a thumbs down for supporting this great country you must be one of the imbeciles you know how to vote

  5. I don't think anyone is not supporting our athletes just because of that awful trackie they wore at the opening ceremony.

Not liking the uniform is not the same as not supporting our athletes.

  6. "Everyone" aye?  dont generalize a whole country just because of a few people.Every country has their idiots..

And hey, theres spell check, why dont you use it? ..

I am Australian, and d**n proud of it.

    Take that you mole!

AUSSIE AUSSIE AUSSIE!! OI OI OII!!

  7. What the h**l are you ranting about? I've never heard anyone, Australian or otherwise, dismissing the Australians or anything they've done or worn. Most people throughout the world admire the Aussies for achieving so much with such a small population. Anyone who says otherwise is jealous or has no idea about sport.

I'm a fervent supporter of Australia and so is everyone I know and I couldn't give a stuff what they wear at the Olympics (or anywhere else for that matter). Their sporting prowess speaks for itself.

  8. You need to calm down mate. Firstly the only negative thing i've heard has been about the uniform worn in the opening ceremony. I think most Aussies support our athletes both Olympians and Para-Olympians except for Channel 7 who won't televise the Para-Olympics. And i agree with Roadhunter you a poor example of an Aussie, its people like you that give the rest of us a bad name.

  9. Exactly.  They changed the uniforms because people whinged.  Now they are whinging because they changed them and they are not traditional.  Drives me mental.

  10. Are you really an Aussie? Sad if so.

I wasn't aware that there were 20 million people, all talking about what was worn.

Lighten up mate and stop making life difficult for all other Aussies. We do support and are proud of them for their achievements, but if we ALL said so, here, this forum would probably overload and shut down.

  11. do you often take what people say that seriously??

i don't no what sports aussies have entered, i don't no what they are wearing.. oh actually they are in the wheres wally jumpers aren't they saw them on the news. (can you tell what i haven't been watching)

oh dear, that was very unaustralia of me.

don't take things to heart, everything is going to be ok... don't type in caps there is no need.

  12. Hey mate, relax- stop being so nationalistic- it is YOU, I'm afraid, who is being Un Australian- and the uniforms they wore were truly Australian; Tacky and lacking in any style (bloody h**l, even the yanks looked smarter than us!).
