R skating rinks only open in the winter??

i havnt been skating in like 5 years and i forget.. i want to go in the summer and fall... can i?

Indoor ones no, because they have cooling machinery

that freezes the rink.

ice skating rink are usually open all year round...sometimes it all depends on where you live! maybe you should call the rink up and if they answer i would imagine they are open! :D

It depends on the rink.  Some shut down during the summer, some don't.  There are fewer summer hockey leagues and less people interested in skating in the summer.  Check online for a rink near you or maybe just call.  :)

Many of them are open all year .  Check the phone directory for some in your area, call & ask.  After all, professional skaters need to practice year round!

Depends in which country you live in. In the US, most rinks are open all year long. In Mexico, all rinks are open all year round (except the Zocalo rink which is only open during winter holidays).

Call your local rinks in your city to ask for schedule and go have some fun.

they made a special kind of artificial ice. the first artificial ice was made in 1876 so people have been skating in the summer since 1876.
