R the atm machines available of different banks?

eg,,hdfc,icici,hsbc,pnb?,,and does the card go with the banks atm only for swipping?

There are 3 types of cards in general. 1. ATM card, 2. Debit card and 3. Credit card. ATM card can be used in a particular bank's ATM centres only. Debit & Credit cards can be used in other banks' networks. For ex: Majorly there are 3 types of networks: Visal, Master & American Express. A customer having a visa card can be used inthe VISA network anywhere in the world.

Before you go to an ATM centre, see what type of card it is. If it is on VISA, visit an ATM centre where VISA cards are accepted.
