R the coolant fans on a car supposed to run everytime u drive a car for long periods of time.?

My coolant fans seem 2 run everytime i drive my car for long distances or when the engine is fully heated. is this normal?

The fans come on when the engine gets to a designated temperature, and stay on until it gets below that temperature even after the engine is stopped. An exception is when the air conditioner is running or the defrosters which turns the air conditioner on to remove excess moisture from the air in the cars interior, in which case the fan runs.
