  1. I stay off of the computer and spend more time reading.  I take a nap during the day which is something I never do otherwise.  Also I tend to stay in the house and go out only if something very necessary.

  2. the usual stuff inshAllah..

fasting, and trying to keep the sunnah prayers, and the taraweeh and tahajjud...

reading a chapter of the quran each day inshAllah..more than one if i could...

me and my friends gather some money and buy some clothes and go to our city's orphanage, spend some time with them:) and give them new clothes for eid...

what i like to do this year is a nice and fun thing...some ppl at the maghrib adhan...go to the street with water or milk and dates,to give it to those who didn't reach home yet,to let them break their iftar..really nice and kind :D

  3. follow Muhammad (saw):

"Ibn ‘Abbas reports that the Prophet -peace be upon him- was the most generous person. He used to become even more generous in Ramadan."

  4. yes

If u go 4 Omrah(trip to Mecca and perform a prayer) in da month of Ramadan..it is as u have performed Hajj with Muhammed (Peace Be Upon Him)

and every good deed is written seventy times during the month of ramadan.

and in the midnight Allah comes so close to the sky of our world and asks the person...I will give u whatever u want?"..e.g.Jannah etc

    hope asnwered ur ?

  5. No.

    =(

  6. Recital of the whole Qur'ãn during Tarawih.

In accordance with the Sunnah of Rasulullah(SAW).

Rasulullah(SAW) used to recite the whole Qur'ãn before Angel Jibrail(AS) during every Ramadan, but in the year he passed away, Rasulullah(SAW) recited it twice.

Tarawih Namaaz is Sunnat-e-Muakkida for both men and women.

To perform Tarawih in Jamaat for men is Sunnat-e-Kifaya.

To complete the Qur'ãn once (either by reciting or listening) is Sunnat.

To complete the Qur'ãn twice is superior.

It is mustahab to spend a major portion of the night in Taraweeh.

  7. This is not a practice or custom for all, but here in the eastern region of SaudiArabia.. when the full moon comes in the middle of Ramadan.. we allow our children to celebrate what we call Gergeean..... This is a cultural thing.. when the people of the gulf coast were bored and the moon was full and everyone in the villages went out during the night during Ramadan.. The moon was beautiful.. So the kids ran up and down the lanes singing songs and the townsfolk would toss out candy, sweets, and nuts to the kids.. Everyone stayed up and out during the full moon.. This custom has sort of evolved, but its still fun.. Now some try to make a "halloween" version of it. by dresing up the kids (in old arabic costumes) and letting them go to neighbors houses and knock on the doors, singing a traditional song and sort of begging for candy.. but non the less.. its still fun for the 10 and under group...

  8. Read the Qur'an more, lower my gaze more than usual, stop swearing (I don't swear much anyway, but during fasting, it's a no-no), don't think bad thoughts etc. It's a state of mind. You sin less without even trying
