  1. Yes, I have a set 3, 4, 5 with graphite and 6-LW with Steel shafts and love them.  I got 3, 4, 5 with graphite because I felt like had to much vibration in my old long irons.  These clubs are very foregiving, and have great feel with the steel shafts and graphite gives a great feeling swing on the long irons.

Many Golf shops that are Cobra dealers like Golfsmith, ***** Sporting Goods, etc... should be able to order you a set with steel/graphite mix from the store.  I got mine from Golfsmith

  2. There is nothing bad about steel shafted clubs. Most of the touring professionals still use steel. Their consistency is better than ever.Their feel from iron to iron is noticeable and comfortable. They accomodate the swing of younger players quite well. It's us older folk who are in the graphite era because we are still trying to do what we did years ago.

  3. Yes, the steel shafts provide more consistency and feedback on shots than the graphite shafts.
